On May 20, 2025, Hegang Steel's S550GD+Z galvanized steel sheet received TÜV Rheinland certification for photovoltaic support materials, becoming the first steel company in Central Asia to achieve this certification. Certification data shows: impact energy ≥ 27J at -40°C (20% higher than the IEC standard), red rust area <1% after 120 cycles of CCT testing, and ultimate load of the support structure 6.5kN/m². This certification will accelerate the implementation of photovoltaic projects in Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, with exports expected to increase by 200% by 2025.
